Dartmouth On Location - CO Shakespeare Festival

Kick off the 60th season of the Colorado Shakespeare Festival with Dartmouth alumni and friends for an opening night performance of The Taming of the Shrew. This zany Shakespearian comedy is set in swinging 1940s New York City and features Kate, a plucky pilot who’s just returned from the fray of World War II, and her stubborn match, Petruchio. On the vibrant streets of Little Italy, the two duke it out in a battle of wits, dance the night away and discover, against all odds, a mutual respect that’s almost like being in love.

DARM Alumni Interview Volunteers
Would you like to meet other alums and help Colorado students apply to Dartmouth? One of the most important (and fun) annual responsibilities of the Dartmouth Alumni Association of the Rocky Mountains is conducting alumni interviews with Front Range high school students who have applied for admission. Last year more than 100 alumni interviewed approximately 225 students in Denver, Boulder and Fort Collins (29 were admitted to the class of 2020). This year Hal Clifford ’83, our volunteer District Enrollment Director (DED), is looking for a few volunteers to help organize and conduct interviewing nights in Boulder and Denver. These are discrete projects that offer an opportunity to meet other alumni and share your love of Darthmouth. We organize the interview nights in December and conduct them in January. Please contact Hal by September 1 if you’d like to help out in this capacity, or any other: hal.clifford1@gmail.com, or (413)429-7566.

Dartmouth on Location - Cacoa
Join fellow alumni, parents, and friends at Dartmouth on Location and learn about the cultural impact and history of chocolate, one of the world’s most fascinating (and tempting) treats. The event is at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science on Saturday, April 30 at 6 p.m.

DEN Pitch Night 2016
After the success of inaugural Pitch Night back in October, Dartmouth Entrepreneurship Network of Boulder and Denver (DEN-BD) is hosting Pitch Night 2016 to select a Dartmouth venture to represent Colorado at the Dartmouth Entrepreneurs Forum in Hanover on April 1, 2016.
